A Telugu-cinema lead from Hyderabad who came out of theatre rather than the film circuit — she studied mass communication, worked as a theatre artist, and learned Telugu for the part that made her, Advocate Shamili in Jathi Ratnalu (2021). Ravanasura (2023), Mathu Vadalara 2 (2024) and Gaayapadda Simham (2026) followed, along with a judge’s chair on the streaming dance show Dance Ikon and a lead in Sigma (2026), Jason Sanjay’s first film, opposite Sundeep Kishan. She trained as a dancer, and it shows in how she wears clothes: her strongest looks are the ones with movement in them — draped sarees, loud prints, a colour you can see from the back of the room. Very little of what she wears is subtle, and that is the point.
