The wine printed saree at the Crazy Kalyanam teaser launch

Wine printed georgette saree, red ruffle-collar halter blouse, mustard embroidered waist belt

This is not a costume. Anupama Parameswaran wore it to the teaser launch of Crazy Kalyanam on 1 August 2026 — the film she leads as Keerthi — so it belongs to her own wardrobe rather than the character's. It is on this site because it is one of the more copyable saree looks she has worn: every element of it is a shape the high street already sells.

The saree is a wine georgette, sheer enough that the light goes through the pleats. Its body is quiet — small rust and coral floral butti scattered thinly over the plum ground — and everything loud is pushed to the edge. A wide border of multicolour stripes in red, coral, ivory, green and mustard runs the length of it, the pallu end carries much larger Kalamkari-style flowers and paisleys, and the whole outer edge is finished with a scalloped ivory picot trim that reads as a wavy white line wherever the fabric folds. It is draped with the pallu pleated over the left shoulder and left hanging down the front rather than pinned flat.

The blouse is the piece that makes the look. Deep red sheer georgette printed with small cream-and-gold butti, cut as a halter with a gathered stand collar — a ruffle at the very top, then a band of gold-and-cream lace worked in a zig-zag below it. Sleeveless, gathered so it flares softly at the bust, and completely open at the back but for one wide printed band across the middle.

At the waist, over the drape, sits a wide mustard-gold fabric belt edged in a multicolour embroidered braid with a fine mirror or sequin trim along it. Jewellery is deliberately thin: long dark-green stone drops at the ears, and on the right wrist a round white-strapped watch with two fine gold chain bracelets above the dial and two below. A small black bindi, and nothing else.

Her shoes are not listed below because they are never visible — the drape and the stage cover her feet in every frame of the footage, and a guessed shoe is the fastest way to make a page like this untrustworthy.

One more thing worth saying plainly: no outlet has credited who made any of these pieces, and none of the labels below are hers. They are lookalikes chosen to get you the same silhouette at a price you would actually spend, and each one names where it differs from what is on screen.
