The purple satin co-ord

This one is not a costume. Bhavana wore it to talk about Spark, at the press meet where her character in the film was revealed, in September 2026 — she does not wear it in the film, where she plays a lawyer in a mustard saree.

It is also, unusually for this site, not a lookalike. It is the actual thing, still on sale, and it costs less than most people would guess from looking at it.

The outfit is one purchase. A purple satin top cut as an asymmetric kaftan — the drape falls long and loose to below the hip on her right side and stops short at the elbow on her left, which is why the silhouette changes so much between frames. Round neck, three-quarter sleeve, no closure, no belt. Across the left chest and up over the shoulder there is a single flower drawn as an outline in bugle beads: one large open petal, a smaller bud below it, and fine stems trailing down with tiny bead clusters on them. In the film's press-meet lighting the beadwork reads as one pale line; up close it is black, silver and gold together.

Under it, matching purple satin trousers. Wide leg, straight, no taper, floor-length, with the same beaded flower repeated once low on the leg. They are long enough that her feet never appear in a single frame of any upload of the event, which is why there is no footwear on this page — there is nothing to look at.

The earrings are not here either. There is a gold-toned top and a cluster of ivory petals hanging below it, plainly visible, and not once sharp enough in any of the footage to say whether those petals are shell, resin or fabric. A guess would look like knowledge and it would be neither.
