The black Diesel coach jacket

This is not a costume. Jason Sanjay directed Sigma, he is not in it, and this is simply what he wore to its pre-launch event in Salem on 8 September 2026 — first seated in the audience, then on stage with a mic.

The jacket is the whole look, and its brand is not a guess. Freeze the frame and the patch high on his left chest reads, in white on red, DIESEL over DENIM DIVISION. That is off the picture itself, not off anybody's caption.

It is a coach jacket: black, with the flat spread collar of a shirt rather than the ribbed stand collar of a track top, fastened with white press studs rather than a zip, cut boxy and worn open the whole evening. The fabric has a satin lift to it — under the stage LEDs the sleeves catch light in a way a matte nylon does not. Down the outside of each sleeve, shoulder to cuff, runs a cream tape drawn as two fine lines with a hair of black between them, which is the detail your eye actually remembers.

That construction — contrast bands down the shoulders and sleeves, a snap-button front, a small chest logo and a large embroidery on the back — is Diesel's J-AKITO. We are naming the style honestly, at one remove: diesel.com will not answer a request from here, and the piece is on neither Diesel's Myntra India shelf nor Lyst's current Diesel inventory, so it is an archive or resale piece rather than something you can add to a basket today. For scale, Diesel's own nylon outerwear on Myntra India sits between ₹22,990 and ₹33,090. A number doing the rounds online puts this jacket near ₹25,000; we could not check it, so we are not stating it.

Under the jacket, a plain white crew-neck tee, untucked, with no print and no pocket. Below, light blue jeans — a clean wash with no rips and no applied fading, loose and straight through the leg rather than tapered.

On his right wrist, two bracelets worn stacked: a band of mottled green stone beads and, above it, a band of pale pink ones. Both are clearly separate strands at full resolution, which is why there are two of them on the list.

Two things are visible and deliberately not on the list. He wears a thin gold chain with a small cross — you can see it, we just could not match it closely enough for it to be worth your money. And the shoes only ever show up in the wide shots of the stage, taken from the back of the hall: plain white low-top sneakers with a tan sole edge, the jeans stacking over them. At that distance nothing else about them resolves — no logo, no panel, no silhouette worth naming — so there is no footwear card here. A guessed shoe is the fastest way to make every other card on this page suspect.
