The Bella floral saree

This one is not a costume. It is Tamannaah Bhatia in front of a Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV media wall in September 2026, standing beside Sidharth Malhotra, her co-star in The Vvaan – Force of the Forrest, a few days before the film opened on 25 September. Nobody has reported what the stop itself was, so we are not going to name it.

What we can name is the saree, because the label is confirmed. It is the Bella floral saree from RI Ritu Kumar, listed by the brand as "Pastel Tan Bella Floral Saree With Stitched Blouse", at ₹1,30,000 — and in stock on the brand's own site when this page was built. That price is RI's own, not the one printed on the clip that went round, although the two happen to agree.

It is worth saying how we know, because floral sarees are everywhere. The brand's own close-up and our frame of her shoulder show the same coral peony drawn in fine thread lines, the same little cluster of gold sequins at its heart, the same sequins scattered across the petals, the same grey-green leaves around it, and the same olive velvet border with a thin lace edge. It is the same saree.

On her it reads like this: an ivory-to-pastel-tan satin silk, printed all over with big hand-drawn peonies — coral, true red, a deep crimson, and a few in teal-blue — trailing grey-green and sage foliage, finished with that dark olive velvet border along every edge. The pleats fall in a heavy, glossy column and the velvet band runs straight down the front of them. The blouse ships with the saree: olive velvet, sleeveless, with a deep V neckline trimmed in the same fine lace. Hair scraped back into a low bun; long earrings of small pink stones running down into a short, dense white pearl tassel; a couple of rings.

Two things we are leaving off. The earrings are clear enough to describe, but nothing on the high street is close enough to put a card on — the nearest had black-tipped tassels where hers are all white — so they stay in the paragraph above rather than in the list below. The rings never resolve into anything you could shop for.

Our saree pick is a cream satin covered in large florals with a green edge, and it comes with its own unstitched blouse piece — but the seller does not show that piece, so we have not built on it.
