The oxblood leather bomber at Silverstone

This one is not a costume. On Saturday 12 September 2026 Ajith Kumar raced an LMP3 car in the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Silverstone, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay waved the green flag to start it, and Trisha came to watch. What she wore to a cold English circuit is the reason this page exists, and it is about as copyable as a famous outfit ever gets: one strong colour on top, two plain things underneath.

The jacket is an oxblood leather-effect bomber, cropped to the high hip and worn open the whole time. The shoulder is padded and dropped, and the sleeve above it is properly blouson — full and gathered, pushed up her forearm — which is what gives the jacket its shape rather than any fastening. The collar is soft and folds down flat instead of standing up in a rib. Two details only show up close: a metal dome snap at the collar point, and a pale pink piping that runs the full length of both front edges. That piping is the detail to look for. It reads in daylight at the circuit and again under warm indoor light in a lift lobby later the same day, so it is a real contrast trim and not a trick of the sun. In the open air the leather looks matte and satiny; indoors it goes glossy. It is the same jacket both times.

Underneath is an off-white ribbed tee with a shallow V neck, fitted and tucked into the jeans. The jeans are a light blue wash, high waisted, straight and relaxed through the leg, breaking loose over the shoes.

A word about the shoes, since they are not in the list below. She is wearing gold metallic flat sandals — open toed, flat soled, with a strap across the instep. That much is certain from the opening seconds, before the crowd closes in. What never resolves is how the straps are actually built, and a gold sandal is exactly the kind of piece where getting the straps wrong means showing you a different shoe. So they are described here and given no card.

Three more things are on her and off the list for a different reason. The pale blue structured top-handle bag, the black cat-eye sunglasses with gold hardware at the temple, and the layered fine gold chains with a circle pendant are all clearly visible and none of them is credited anywhere. Naming a label we have inferred is the single worst thing this site can do, so we have not.

No brand has been credited for anything in this outfit. That is normal for an appearance — the outlets that covered the race describe the clothes and name nothing. You may see a claim circulating that the jacket is a specific Zara style in Brick. We checked it against the footage and it does not hold: that jacket has a ribbed baseball collar, a ribbed hem band and a plain zip front with no contrast trim, where hers has a soft fold-down collar, a snap at the throat and the pink piping described above.
