The closest thing we found on the high street, and it is close on the two things that matter most: the ground is the same cream rather than a bright white, and the roses are printed large and soft-edged in blush and coral with sage-green foliage, so it reads painterly at a distance the way hers does. Sheer fabric, an empire yoke with the skirt gathered from it, and it comes with its own trousers and dupatta so it is still one purchase. Two differences worth knowing. There is no front opening — it is a closed kurta with a plain scoop neck, so you lose the studded placket that is the signature of the original, and with it the layered look of an open jacket over an inner. And the roses sit further apart on a paler, emptier ground, so it is a quieter print than the dense one she is wearing.
