Chocolate button-through belted A-line midi dress
Lookalike of the piece Trisha Krishnan wore.
Listed by 4 sellers
The closest thing on the high street to the whole silhouette: brown, sleeveless, buttoned down the centre front from the neck to the hem in gold-tone buttons, belted at the natural waist in its own cloth, and cut as a full A-line midi that falls to mid-calf. Three differences to know before you buy. The neckline is a pointed shirt collar where the original is a plain crew neck with no collar at all — the single biggest change, and the one you will notice in a photograph. The belt fastens with a plain buckle rather than the original’s large flat oval one. And the skirt runs straight down from the waist, without the short peplum layer that sits over it on the Forever New dress. The brown is a touch warmer and lighter than Chocolate Martini, closer to a tan; against the indoor frames above it is close, against the pink-lit stage frames it is not, and the indoor ones are the honest comparison.
