The White Moonfield Saree

This one is not a costume. It is what Keerthy Suresh wore through an airport in September 2026, filmed by a paparazzo as she walked out — phone to her ear, round black sunglasses on, in no hurry at all. Nobody has said which airport or where she was going, so neither do we.

And for once the outfit is not a mystery. It is Masaba's White Moonfield Gota Embroidered Saree, on sale on Masaba's own site at ₹48,000, made to order with a four-to-five-week wait. That price and that stock status come from the brand's own product page, not from the clips going round.

What you are looking at, piece by piece. A white raw-silk saree with a narrow gold border, and along the edge of that border a fine black-and-white twisted piping — the thin dark line you can see running down the pleats and up over her shoulder. The pallu ends in large rectangular panels of gold gota work, framed like a picture, which catch the light every time she takes a step. Under it, a white V-neck blouse with elbow sleeves, a broad band of gold at each cuff, and a small gold palm-and-moon motif embroidered high on the sleeve. Masaba sells the blouse with the saree.

Around it: a gold openwork choker with small pearl beads and a few red stones, gold jhumkas, a stack of gold bangles on the right wrist, and small perfectly round black sunglasses in a thin metal rim. Hair scraped back into a low bun.

Three things we are leaving off rather than guessing at. Her footwear is gold and flat but it is a blur in every frame, so it is not a piece. The choker is a gold lattice, and nothing we found on the high street reads as gold rather than pearl at card size, so we would rather name no choker than a wrong one. And the jhumkas and bangles never come sharp enough to match.
