The gilet itself, not a lookalike. Schiaparelli’s Chain Bijoux Gilet, cut from ivory cady — 66% viscose, 32% acetate, 2% elastane — fitted close to the body with a short peplum shaping the waist. Five large hammered gold jewel buttons in the house’s S emblem run down the front, the straps are gold chain finished with bone-effect bar clasps, and there are two large welt pockets and a jewelled button tab at the back. Two things to know. It was €4,500 — roughly ₹4.1 lakh — when she wore it in October 2024, and the Maison’s e-shop now lists it at €4,800. And you cannot order it: the listing reads available in store only. The price shown here is what it cost on the night, not what you would pay today.
