The jacket does the cape's job — worn open with no closure, flared through the sleeve, floral pattern on a black ground — and the crop underneath stands in for the embroidered bustier, which is the piece nothing else at this price gets near. Be clear on the differences before you buy. This jacket is PRINTED and opaque where the Mishru cape is sheer organza with the flowers appliquéd on so they sit proud of the fabric; it stops at the hip where hers falls to the floor; the palette is cream, rust and maroon where hers is magenta, lilac and sage; and the bottom half is a wide-leg palazzo, not a floor-length skirt. Worn together it reads as the same look across a room, which is the honest claim.
