Enchanted Drapes
Ivory solid cotton A-line kurta
Lookalike of the piece Nayanthara wore.
Listed by 4 sellers
A plain ivory cotton kurta, and plain is the whole requirement — the original is handwoven Narayanpet cotton carrying nothing but its own weave and one line of rose-pink piping, so any print or embroidery puts you further away, not closer. This is the closest true ivory on the high street and it is a real cotton rather than a rayon that goes shiny on camera. Three differences worth knowing before you buy: the screen kurta has full sleeves where this is three-quarter; its hem is an even A-line to the ankle where this one is cut asymmetric and dips at the sides; and it has no contrast piping, which is the detail that makes the original look like a loom piece. A length of rose-pink piping tape run down the placket and around the hem closes most of that gap for the price of the tape.
