Warm ivory rather than white, in a smooth flat-woven cotton with no slub and no texture — which is the whole match. Half the cream trousers on the high street are either linen, and visibly so, or a cold grey-stone; the screen pair is neither. Flat front, mid rise, five pockets, straight through the leg. The one difference: this is cut slim, where his hang looser and easier from the hip, so go a size up if you want the same relaxed line under an untucked shirt.
